New Simplified Pricing Structure for IPC Standards and Technical Documents

On January 12, 2014, IPC is implementing a new, simplified pricing structure for standards and technical documents. The new pricing structure is based on the complexity of the document (number of pages, number of images and color), with three distinct pricing levels:

$36     – Member Price $52     – Member Price $68     – Member Price
$72     – Nonmember Price $104     – Nonmember Price $136     – Nonmember Price
“Simple”   documents are 30 pages or less, and contain black and white imagery.
“Moderate” documents run 31–100 pages and include black and white images.
“Complex” documents are 100+ pages long and/or contain color imagery.

In most cases, increases are nominal. In some cases, prices have even decreased. IPC’s goal is to continue to deliver the highest quality and most trusted documents in the electronics industry, but now with a simplified and easy-to-understand pricing structure.

New prices will be reflected in IPC’s Online Store at on January 12, 2014. If you have any questions about IPC’s new pricing structure for standards and technical documents, contact the IPC Customer Service department at +1 847-597-2862 or

Will IPC member companies still get one copy free at the time of publication? Or will IPC member companies have to buy all their copies at the reduced price?

      Hi Mr. Fritz —

Nothing has changed regarding the free single-user download.
IPC members can still request a free single user download of a document with digital rights management of each new standard by e-mailing within 90 days of the document’s publish date.
