Don Banfield, 50, president of Conductive Compounds and long-time electronics industry veteran, died March 19, 2013, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Don was actively involved with IPC and most recently served as chairman of the Printed Electronics Management Council Committee. As chair of the committee, Don oversaw the development of educational programs to support the printed electronics industry and expansion of the technology to a worldwide market. Per his committee peers, he was the perfect candidate to take printed electronics from a vision to a reality.
He will be missed by his industry colleagues and IPC.
