When will IPC-A-610E, J-STD-001E, IPC-A-600H, and IPC-6012C be released?

We’ve started getting inquiries on upcoming release of four of IPC’s most widely-used documents. I can tell you first-hand that our typesetter and technical staff have been working quite a bit of overtime in order to have the documents available at IPC APEX EXPO. It appears that the first publications off the press will be delivered to the show late on Monday, April 5, and available in the IPC booth/bookstore on Tuesday, April 6.

We expect at that time to have enough inventory to start fulfilling orders and will make announcements as soon as we can properly fill orders. Did you know that IPC members receive a FREE copy of every document that gets published? Watch the IPC New Releases E-mail forum for details on ordering your free member copies.

If you are thinking of purchasing a copy of each of these documents, you can save nearly $400 by signing up for membership now and getting free copies within 90 days of publication. Contact our membership director Neal Bender at NealBender@ipc.org for more information.

Hello Gabriel – They will not be offered this year at APEX EXPO. However, there will be standalone courses in California in May. Please check http://www.ipc.org/events for details. Also, a course on the standards will be offered this fall at IPC Midwest in Rosemont (Chicago), Ill. Let me know if you have any other questions.
