IPC Testifies to EPA Against Reopening the DSW (Definition of Solid Waste) Rule

We sent out a press release on this today. One of the key points: If the Rule is reopened, the increase in recycling of valuable metals and other materials would be potentially lost. In addition, the $95 million dollars in savings per year that the current DSW rule would provide affected industries including electronics manufacturers, as originally projected by the EPA, would be in jeopardy.

Supporting your trade association through member dues is the most cost-efficient way to have someone in Washington working on your behalf. It’s clear that if we don’t pay now, the industry will certainly pay later.
